If you're painting a room, one of the most challenging areas to get right is the edge along the ceiling and the baseboards. To help you out, here are some tips to keep in mind.
1. Remove the Baseboards
For the bottom edge of the wall, it always helps to remove the baseboards. Then, you only have to get the paint relatively close to the flooring, and you don't need to worry about getting the edge straight.
If your kids share a bedroom, you'll know the struggle of getting them to agree on any kind of decor choice. One child might want a princess theme, while the other could be football mad. Using clever painting tricks is a great way to add personality to the room, without arguments, tantrums or tears.
If you've got enough wall space, creating two murals, each based on the interests of one child, is a great compromise.
